Give supervision to the Chapter and its officers. See that all obligations of the Chapter are fulfilled. Preside at all meetings of the Chapter and Executive Committee. Prepare, prior to each meeting, an order of business for the use of the presiding officer. Make appointments when necessary (i.e. Judicial Board). Perform such other duties as his office may require. Also, maintain the Fraternity web page at least once a semester. Serve as list serve coordinator for both the pledges and chapter. Organize and respond to all web page correspondence.

Perform all presidential duties in the absence of the President. Coordinate and oversee all Chapter standing Committees. Collect all the minutes of all committee meetings and file them in the Chapter records. Serve ex officio a member of all Chapter committees.

Handle all correspondence of the Chapter. Keep the associate members and the advisor in formed as to the activities of the Chapter. Assemble and edit a Chapter news letter containing articles written by the officers and other brothers.

Receive and keep records of all money received by the chapter. Disperse funds as authorized by the Chapter when the Treasurer is absent.

Guard the door and maintain order in all Chapter meetings. Distribute, collect, and count ballots when needed. Hold all members accountable for attending Chapter functions, as well as record attendance of each brother at each function.

Train the pledges in the fundamentals of Chi Alpha Omega utilizing the programs outlined in the pledge manual. Serve as chairman of the Pledge Committee. Communicate the message and central purpose of the fraternity to the pledges. Choose a suitable big brother for each pledge. Report the progress of the pledges at each business meeting during the pledge period. See that each pledge has completed the pledge requirements before the end of the pledge period. See that an updated pledge manual is produced for each pledge by the first pledge meeting.

Keep a fraternity notebook with dates of each chapter's history including pictures and memorabilia from fraternity events. Initiate the official fraternity pictures and keep these pictures each semester after the induction of new brothers.
